Devos Dance & DRama

Over the last 8 years we have delivered a range of classes to a variety of people, children from as young as two, along with adults up to the fine age of 87. At Devos Dance & Drama we believe the performing arts are for EVERYBODY and are an essential tool in building confidence and self esteem as well as maintaining positive wellbeing.

For our younger students all of our sessions explore the disciplines through play in a fun and engaging environment - allowing them to call upon their imagination and be creative, all whilst developing their skills.

For our students working towards examinations we offer a tailored approach to each individual, there is no one size fits all in teaching and coaching, and we work hard to ensure we know the student, emphasising their strengths, whilst also supporting development of those areas that do need more work. We have exceptional exam results and firmly believe this is due to our unique approach which builds confident and comfortable performers.

For our older students who aspire to move onto dance and drama colleges for professional training, Devos Dance & Drama has a breadth of experience and industry contacts, supporting our students from application to audition and beyond.

Miss Chloe is a registered dance teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), the Imperial Society of Teachers Dancing (ISTD) as well as the IDTA, meaning we can tailor the learning experience to our students choosing the exam board that works best for them. For our acro classes we follow the Acrobatics Arts Syllabus.

We hope over time to offer recreational and examination classes to students from the age of 2, varying from complete beginners to advanced dancers.

We regularly take part in festivals and competitions across the country. In order to be considered for this you must take regular classes and be willing to attend additional 1:1 private lessons. The school is proud to house three competitive Teams: Junior (U8), Intermediate (U11) & Senior (U16) who compete in contemporary, musical theatre and street dance.

Classes are offered in: Acro, Ballet, Cheerleading, Jazz, Contemporary and Street Dance.
